I found some really basic knitting instructions in case anyone reading this would like to learn. It's a shame more people don't knit...in 20 years or so it might just be a forgotten art. And it really is addicting even if you normally don't like to sit in one spot for hours trying to figure out why the needles don't have hooks on them...because believe me you WILL wonder that.
