Beer Bread
Ingredients:
3 cups flour (I didn't have all purpose flour so I used bread flour)
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
1 - 12 ounce can of beer
1/4 cup butter, melted
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Butter loaf pan. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Add beer and melted butter to flour mixture and stir until well combined. The batter will be sticky. Pour into prepared loaf pan. Bake for 45 minutes until golden brown and a pick inserted into center comes out clean. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes then remove to wire rack to completely cool. (Makes one loaf)
